Tips and tricks for correct tripod grasp

Hi all 👋 Just a reminder we were live earlier, tallinh about some quick tips to help your child get correct tripod grasp during handwriting 📃 paper at midline 🖋 writing utensil at midline, pointing towards self 👐 allow pick up with either left or right hand, but don't allow swapping mid task 👌 pick and flick - voila! 🎲 if your learner is still sliding the pinky and ring fingers back onto the utensil, try giving them something small like a dice to hold with those fingers 〰️ if you are only working on correct grip, allow your child time to practise this freely through scribbling and colouring, rather than moving straight to letter formation. Remember strong foundations and prerequisite skills!!! I think the temptation to use curricula and worksheets leads us away from these scribbles, so why not find a set that allows scribbles!?
