TIS DESIGN THINKING PROJECT PRESENTATION

In our design thinking project, our team collectively chosen residential college security as our theme. Basically, residential colleges are essential for student growth, yet many currently rely on outdated security measures like paper logbooks that leave students vulnerable. To solve this, we developed Resiguard. What is Resiguard? It is a digital system designed to track campus access and ensure physical safety is never a barrier to academic success. We ensure every feature is rooted in the real-world needs and feedback of the student community. To ensure the best user experience, we utilized Figma interactive components and advance prototyping logic. We were glad to grow from software users to being strategic creators throughout this project. The journey taught us as Graphics and Multimedia students, our role is to blend technical skills like Figma and Capcut with human empathy. We ought to continue upskilling in interactive prototyping and digital storytelling for the industry, ensuring we remain as problem solvers capable of tackling real-world challenges.
