As a spatial designer and bird watching hobbyist, they have a keen eye and ear for the meaningful details found within the natural world. This is expressed through their productions as well as DJ sets; often opting for the slow burning and meditative pace of percussive new age and textural ambient music, while bringing earthen timbres and frenetic rhythm to the dance floor. In addition to their explorations as tondiue, they make up one half of the DJ duo, party series, and record label Apt E alongside their longtime collaborator Max. Apt E has been making waves in the Seattle underground since 2017, starting with a series of all nighters at off-the-beaten-path locations around the city and later developing into a record label. Their vinyl releases focus on acts from in and around the Seattle area, and seek to provide a platform for up and coming artists. Look out for a handful of releases from tondiue in 2021, including an Apt E record from their newly formed krautrock band, Tape. All tracks written & produced by Cameron Kelley.
