Tools
Let's tackle a very important part : TOOLS ! You need to work with tools where you are comfortable. You can find many kits with basic tools in art stores, but few will really harm you. It's best to make the tools you need. For my part, I mainly use tools that I made myself from twisted needles, pieces of wood, guitar strings of different diameters or nails. There are only clay shaper and ball-shaped tools that you can hardly make by yourself Let's see how to make some tools The needles : Nothing could be simpler : a needle cut and placed at the end of a stick of wood or a broken brush, this basic tool will allow you to create a lot of details. The alternative, twisted needles, quite simple, you equip yourself with a needle and a mini blowtorch. you heat the needle for 2 minutes with a blowtorch (be careful not to burn yourself), and with two pliers you can twist the needle without breaking it Tools using the guitar string: Use guitar strings of different diameters, a small wooden stick and a metal tube. Twist the guitar string, place it in the metal tube then everything on the wooden stick and glue everything with epoxy glue, (you will find a video above showing the steps) you can make it with different diameter of guitar strings, for my part I use 3 different sizes. Mini spatulas, same principle as for the needles, you have to heat a nail with a blowtorch and with a hammer flatten the nail to achieve the desired shape, which then sand everything with very fine sandpaper I will come back in the next video on the creation of these tools Here are some photos of the tools I use on a daily basis and the links for those you can buy on the internet Color shaper: https://amzn.to/3IHBmA4 Ball tool: https://amzn.to/3v75odt Thank you for your support See you soon Here the link for the human skeleton ;-) https://urls.fr/ik8pIE
