This video shows my experience with programming TPMS sensors on a 2009 Lexus IS250 using the LAUNCH Creader Elite Bi-Directional OBD2 Scanner for Toyota/Lexus. Skip to 5:22 for the programming procedure. Additional info, troubleshooting and tips: To prolong battery life, the TPMS sensors are pressure activated from the factory. Once they are activated, they are motion activated. For cars with the second set of TPMS sensor option, make sure you have the button (under the glovebox, or to the left of the steering wheel depending on the model) switched to the correct set that you programmed. If you get code C2126 (Transmitter ID not received), the system did not finish initializing. This could be caused by the car being turned off before the sensors could be initialized, or one or more of the sensors not being activated by pressure. Try letting air out of the tire(s) and then refill them. Redo the programming procedure and then go on a drive and see if that initializes the system. If you get code C2127 (Transmitter ID Not Received In 2nd Mode), check if there is a second set of TPMS sensors programmed to the car that were not fully initialized.
