"Traces" is an experimental interdisciplinary performance connecting dance, live drawing, mirrors, projection, and generative sound.
The drawing process by Alice Angus responds to movement by dancers Eka Zharinova and Sarah Duffin. The recorded drawing was analysed in TouchDesigner, where changes in texture and density were translated into data streams. These data structures form the musical score and shape the audiovisual system created by Leksha Yankov.
Mirrors and projection create layered spatial reflections, extending the visual field and blurring boundaries between physical and digital presence.
