Tranception - Red Zone

TechnoClassic sent me a message on youtube asking if I would do a remix of a song called Red Zone. I have never before heard it but I enjoyed it when I did hear it so I decided to do this remix and this is the result. I don't know anything about remixing to be honest, like if there is something you generally think of, or maybe there is a rule. I just did this remix the way I thought was interesting while still keeping some of the original melody intact. Some parts are completely new and not at all from the original song. It took me a while to really get satisfied with how to remix it. When I remixed it I took a midi-file and looked at all the instruments there, imported it to Cubase and just replaced the instruments with sounds I wanted. Also I removed instruments I didn't like. Some instruments kept kind of the sound of the original as described, for example brass, I just changed it to another kind of brass and orchestra hit as well. Guitars was in the midi so I replaced them with some nexus overdrive guitar combined with a nexus nylon guitar with added distorsion. Well I did some stuff either way to make it sound better in my opinion :D. I hope you like it as much as me!
