To offer peer support to trans and gender diverse peoples living in New South Wales, the Mental Health Commission of NSW worked with ACON and funded a pilot trans peer navigation program – P4T.
P4T – a free telehealth service, provided peer support and referrals to adult trans people and helped them with personal resilience, mental health, and gender-related distress through peer support.
The pilot project has now expanded and developed into a full service called Trans Mental Health and Wellbeing Support Service.
