This is very much just an overview of the basic idea, so I recommend checking out information on how to print stems within your specific DAW after watching this video. Also, keep in mind that I’m speaking from the perspective of a mix engineer receiving files for a mix, and not so much from someone receiving files for placement in TV and film.
