Connecticut Light & Power (CL&P) has donated two, 100 kVa (kilovolt-ampere) transformers to the Norwich-based Haitian Health Foundation. The transformers are needed in Jeremie, Haiti, the home of the Foundation's Klinik Pep Bondye-a or Clinic of the People of God. The clinic often has to deal with low voltage and power fluctuations, all too common in Haiti. CL&P's transformers will help deliver the steady flow of electricity that the doctors and dentists need.
