The Patient Driven Payment Model goes into effect on October1st 2019. SNF will need to complete a Transitional Interim Payment Assessment with an ARD of 10/1 -10/7/2019. The look back time frame for section D, mood interview has already started. Section D has a 14 day look back window. The IDT and MDS Coordinator need to work together to ensure the information needed to code the IPA is not missed or overlooked. The IPA will sent the payment for the remainder of the Med A stay, unless another IPA is completed. This video will help guide MDS and the IDT.
