In this video, we cover triangular prism surface area and volume! We will explain step by step how to find the surface area and voluem of triangular prisms, how to find the B=base, how that is different from b=base of the triangle, which dimensions to use as the height, and how to use nets to find lateral and total surface area. In 3D figures, such as triangular prisms, we actually need two different formulas for finding surface area and volume - for each formula we need the 2D area of the triangular base shapes, plus the 3D formulas for each surface area and volume!
