A triangular wave generator using op-amps combines a square wave generator (Schmitt trigger) and an integrator. The comparator produces a square wave, which is integrated by the second op-amp, forcing a capacitor to charge/discharge linearly, creating the triangular output. This is achieved by connecting integrator circuit at the output of square wave generator. Assume that V’ is high at +Vsat. This forces a constant current (+Vsat/R3) through C (left to right) to drive Vo negative linearly.
