Dunkleosteus is an extinct armored fish that lived about 380 million years ago during the Late Devonian period. It could grow up to six meters long and weighed around one ton. Fossils have been found in North America, Europe, and Morocco. Dunkleosteus had powerful jaws made of sharp bony plates instead of teeth, allowing it to crush prey easily. Its heavily armored head and flexible body made it an Apex predator in ancient seas.
