In light of recent events, I thought it would be interesting to use a statistical/econometrics technique to analyze the impact of tariffs on the stock market. First, I introduce the theory of event analysis. Second, I compare two stocks Microsoft and Apple and see which of the two perform better in light of the tariff announcement from Trumps First Term. The answer should be dependent on the question: Who is more dependent on China?
