Try This Winter Streamer Pattern! (Steelhead)

This is a variation of a leech fly pattern that I tied up specifically for winter steelhead. However, it would also work perfectly well for trout and salmon. I really enjoy this color combination, but the possibilities are endless—so put in your favorite colors and give it a try! This one is also a good example of how much weight you can put on a fly. You might not need this much, or any at all. Just remember that just about all flies can be adjusted for the conditions you’re fishing. It never hurts to have some with varying weights for each situation. Hope everyone’s steelhead fishing is off to a good start!
