TU/e calculus B 2021 final exam question (Method 2)
This question was taken form a TU Eindhoven year one calculus course final exam. It is a mixture of the theory learned related to integration and limits. This video is part 2 of 2. In this video we will see how to tackle this problem using U-Substitution. In our question we are dealing with an improper integral and thus, to be able to integrate it, we will have to use limits and split the integral into two different proper integrals and continue form there. As I said in the first video, this method will be a bit longer and more explicit, however it is more appropriate and suitable as an exam answer and it will get you full marks. If you have not see the first video and you are curious to see how to solve this question in a faster way, I recommend that you give it a look at: https://youtu.be/7rlppHflsT0 You can get some practice by attempting the problem on your own before watching the rest of the video.
