Tuesday Night Mitt Work Compilation! 🥊

Let’s Talk Media LLC. Is proud to announce its latest mitt work compilation with my boxing coach, Chris Irving at my boxing gym, @gloveupstl Glove Up Fitness @isthat_chris @chrisirvingboxingtrainer In the first clip, we focused on the fundamentals—basic punches, combination work, rolls, slips, and a lot of double punches using the same hand! We closed it out with some hard hooks and explosive shots to sharpen power and precision! 💥 In the second clip, we worked on something I’ve really been wanting to develop—the “shovel uppercut” off a slip. After slipping the jab, I dip the shoulder and use that position to “dig” a tight, explosive 🧨 uppercut! It’s all about using the ground, legs, hips, and rotation to generate real kinetic power and make the shot pop! Chris set it up perfectly and had me flow into some clean combinations! From there, we built it out—uppercut into a double hook, straight right, double roll, angle off, then right hand, left hook, and finishing with two quick jabs. This round was all about defense, movement, angles, and staying fluid while mixing speed with power! You can have speed, power, and technique—but without fluidity, rhythm, and proper footwork, it’s hard to put it all together! That’s what we’re working on every Tuesday night in his class!
