Turbo Boost Leak Testing
In this video I have a 2001 7.3 Powerstroke with a Check Engine light on, has code P1247 Turbo Boost Pressure Too Low. Unfortunately I could not drive it prior to diagnosing it because it had lost all brake fluid from failed piston in a caliper. If I could have driven it I would have discovered an extreme lack of power. I am going to show you the easiest way to test for boost codes or lack of power. Join me as I show you just how easy it is.
