Turkish Drop/Turkish Fall Tutorial Part 2
Tutorial on how to do a Turkish Drop! This is a power move that looks amazing on stage, but takes a lot of strength and conditioning to perform properly. After years of failing to find a good tutorial, I found my answer to the Turkish drop in an unexpected place: kung fu classes. Because I am passionate that students have excellent resources that keep them from being injured, I have created a tutorial to help dancers who want to do this move but don’t know how to prepare for it, and I hope this provides some guidance to how to safely execute this movement and build up the body awareness and conditioning to perform it confidently.
