The turnabout is an easier manoeuvre compared to the reverse around the corner but it is still possible to fail your driving test for the turnabout. In this video, first I will be showing you how to do the turnabout, then I will show you exactly what the tester wants to see you do and then I will be showing you the most common mistakes people generally make when completing the turnabout. In the turnabout manoeuvre in your driving test, you can be marked for competency, observation or right of way. The reason you can be marked for competency in your driving test is for going too slow, too fast or hitting the curb. The reason you can be marked for observation in the turnabout is for not looking right and left or if you do look right and left and you keep reversing as there is a car driving towards you This could also be a mark for right of way in the turnabout. If you see a car driving towards you, you have to stop and when they stop, you can continue your manoeuvre.
