Tutorial# 11 Generating contours using DEM from USGS

To generate contours using DEM from USGS it is required to have the following tools 1. Download the DEM from USGS or Earthexplorer 2. Install Global mapper 3. Install Google earth 4. Install Surfer 5. Notepad++ Note: The rest of the tutorial follow the steps I am going to carry out in this tutorial In the folder I already have my .DEM: ASTGTM2_S13E027_dem I. I will now run the Global mapper to expot the Coordinates II. I will now open the - ASTGTM2_S13E027_dem in Global mapper III.
