TUTORIAL: HOW TO COOK NSHIMA

Hey guys!!!!😁😁😁 it's been a while I know 😅 but yeah. also I know it's not Monday but I had some technical difficulties 😒. Anyway here's the video😋 and yes it's about food😉. I'm gonna show (kinda) how to cook Nshima. Also I'm gonna talk about similar dishes cooked around Africa🌍. Full recipe and instructions (For this specific medium sized pot) ************* First part you'll need: 2 1/2 cup of mealie meal 1 cup cool/ room temp water (you wont use it all though) A medium sized pot boiled water in a kettle/pot a cooking stick (wooden) and a stove of course 😉 What to do: STAGE ONE Turn on the stove🔥Add the mealie meal into the pot then add about half of the cool water and mix until you have a paste like consistency. Then move your pot to your hot plate. immediately start adding the hot water slowly and carefully unti the pot is about half full. Then mix until it's becomes little thick like a light porridge, put the lid on and leave to simmer for 7-10 min. STAGE TWO Once your "porridge" has simmered begin to add the rest of the mealie meal and carefully mix it up. ( Depending on how thick you want your Nshima to be, you could add some more mealie meal😊) After a minute of mixing. Put the lid on and and let the raw mealie meal cook for about 6-10 min.
