Tutorial: How To Zero Gap Andis Masters Made Simple, in this tutorial, I will show you how to adjust your Andis Masters and the Andis Fade Master to a zero-gap position. This zero gapping in particular can be a bit more difficult for you must set the actual clipper itself in order for it to be zero gapped. This is done by positioning the cutting blade to an almost parallel alignment with the comb blade. Note: It is important to make sure that the cutting blade does not protrude out further than the comb blade you will cut your clients. The perfect positioning is for the cutting blade to be just further in slightly than the comb blade. The procedure within will detail how you zero-gap your Andis Masters clippers and Andis Master Faders by first using a small flathead screwdriver to remove the screws of the clipper’s belly and removing the plate, use a star screwdriver to slightly loosen the screws tightening the Connector Fork, pushing the bottom blade up closer to the top blade that being the zero-gap position, replace the screws on the Connector Fork very gently moving back and forth from each screw as to not knock the blade out of even alignment, replace the belly, tweak the clippers by using a high-grade Philips screwdriver to loosen the two screws on the top, and finally be sure to test the clipper on your arm before ever allowing the device onto the shop floor.
