Materials: Glue stick scrap paper 1 red card and 1 blue card (preferably from a new deck) 1 face card and 1 number card (also new) Heavy textbook or weight Splitting cards is a very old method to making your own gimmicks and modern magicians use it all the time. The technique is very hard at first but is very necessary to make the best looking card tricks that can even fool other magicians. In this video I will teach you a very easy-to-perform double backer trick that will require you to make two double backers. At the end of the video I will show a trick that, if you know a little about sleights, you can figure out and perform yourself.
