Twining in Rows
Learn how to do knit twining, a Scandinavian colorwork technique, when knitting flat, back and forth, in rows. This alternating color technique creates a thick, dense fabric with a cool herringbone-like pattern created by twisting the yarns around each other. Both English and continental style knitting will be demonstrated. 00:00 Introduction 01:29 Pattern + Twist 02:33 Purl side twist direction 03:01 Knit side twist direction 03:23 English style twining on the purl side 04:34 English style twining on the knit side 05:34 Continental style twining on the purl side 06:35 Continental style twining on the knit side 07:37 The selvedge stitches 08:42 Final Notes -- Related Videos -- Entwinement Socks Playlist - https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLtxtV4XDEZX1QLDAWjeAPlfOeNNkHUNJv -- Shown in this Tutorial -- Pattern: Entwinement Socks - https://shop.thechillydog.com/products/entwinement-socks-knitting-pattern-pdf Yarn: HiKoo CoBaSi Needles: skacel by addi Rocket2 [Squared] -- Skillful Knitting Unleashed -- Find your next knitting project in our pattern shop: http://shop.thechillydog.com Become a member of our pack to access our complete learning library, get a behind the scenes peek in our journal and more: http://www.thechillydog.com #thechillydog #EntwinementSocks #knittingtutorial
