Two Small Coins

This song features the story of the widow who gave two mites (coins), found in Mark 12:41–44. Those coins were all she had left in this world. In this story, once again, we see Jesus honor someone others have thought were inferior and unworthy of attention. What about me? Do I pass by those who have less riches on earth? Do I notice only those who have something to offer by way of earthly riches? I want to be like Jesus, who noticed the small gift from a big heart.
