Here's another paint scheme, representing two interesting themes in Tyranid painting- geometric patterning on the carapace, and color transitions along the limbs. This time, it's based on the dune devil scorpion, an animal found in the American Southwest.
As with my previous tutorials, these concepts are supported by heavy use of washes, keeping the scheme easy to paint while still looking distinctive.
Feel free to adjust the scheme for your own use- as a general rule, I would avoid putting Soft Tone over 'cool' colors, but other than that it's a flexible system.
