U Bending process simulation || AFDEX 2D || Single-stage

In this video, you will learn how to simulate a single-stage U Bending process including spring back using AFDEX 2D, the intelligent metal forming simulator. This will be a 2D plane strain cold forging simulation where the temperature change during the forging process will be neglected. The material of the workpiece is a stainless steel grade named DP780 and its initial temperature is equal to that of room temperature. The unloading process of the die will also be simulated in this tutorial. A glimpse of the post-processing options available in AFDEX will also be shown at the end of the video.
