In this short video, I am moving a U7 Pro In-Wall AP from behind my TV where I was having a Layer 1 issue. This is an attempt at finding a creative solution to my problem of not being able to immediately rerun cable (and run cable to a location not directly behind my TV).
I found a 3" grommet that has a RJ45 (CAT6) built into it allowing me to run cable from my in-cabinet homerun trunking my 8P switch back to my MDF 48P switch.
It works for now addressing two of my issues: Getting GbE speeds to the new AP and moving the AP from behind my TV.
I'd call it a win-win!
