GRUB2 has been out a few years now and is its reliability is proven it has started to make its way in the Enterprise server market. If you have not taken the time to look into GRUB2 yet, this may be the right time to look now. This first video looks at GRUB2 on Ubuntu and next week we will look at it on openSUSE as I now have 12.3 for review, We can edit configurations within /etc to update the grub.cfg withing /boot/grub. In Ubuntu you are pushed to using update-grub but we will also look at the grub-mkconfig which is better if you need to troubleshoot.
