Gatyeni is an abusive man whose presence instills fear , not just to the members of his house hold, buth to the society at large. Whenever he returns home it is a known fact that the neighbours will not sleep. All hell will break loose as he will be on his usual spree of beating up his wife. For a while Gatyeni was away and the village saw him arriving and they knew what that meant. a feeling of shame and frear greeted everyone. The composer of the song appeals to the by standers to end it and stop Gatyeni, while the lead vocalist tells the sad story of Gatyeni's arrival.
