What I am going to show in this video is how you can update an app with an original target of iOS 14 then update the target to iOS 13 and replace a UISlider on one of the ViewControllers to instead use a custom view designed in SwiftUI. This will require the use of a Hosting View Controller. If you want to support my work, you can buy me a coffee :) https://ko-fi.com/stewartlynch ******** Download my StewartLynch YouTube Channel Application - Free *********** https://stewartlynch.gumroad.com/l/obsjz Table of Contents: 0:00 Introduction 1:15 Starter Projects Overview 5:00 Preparing the SwiftUI View 9:35 Adding the Hosting View Controller to UIKit 12:00 Solving the Binding issue with UIKit and SwiftUI View Starter Project Files: http://www.createchsol.com/StarterProjects/UIKit-SwiftUIStarterProjects.zip Completed Project: https://github.com/StewartLynch/My-Books-Completed References mentioned in video: Ratings View with Swift Package Manager https://youtu.be/o0fQC7JU-Ts Introduction to Closures: https://youtu.be/4-EvBzIT5Y0 Other References: Stewart Lynch's YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/StewartLynch Stewart Lynch on Twitter: https://twitter.com/StewartLynch
