Ultimate Horse Whitening Tutorial!
I APOLOGIZE IN ADVANCE FOR THE ONE LOUD SECTION OF AUDIO I MISSED, it does not effect the tutorial as a whole and I cannot go back in to edit it without deleting the video. Please bear with me as it's my first ever video. The section you may have missed due to the audio is "sometimes I add a DROP of whitening shampoo to the brush when using detangler, brush vertically or side to side, not down, to spread the detangler evenly! Brush till dry, then brush the tail down to smooth." You will never need another whitening tutorial in your life! I've worked for years to find this routine and it works on horses time and time again!! Warning: if you use too much blueing the tail may stain slightly blue/green (if badly yellow) BUT it will wash out the next time around. The blueing is completely animal safe, and safe to use time and time again. Just make sure you always follow it with conditioner as it can make the hairs brittle when drying. IF YOU DO NOT GET THE DESIRED OUTCOME: wait 2-3 days before trying again! Do not immediately rewash. Give the tail a few days to settle then go again. Repeat as needed. After you achieve your desired level of white you should only need to use this for a touch up once every few months with "normal" washes between. If you use this tutorial feel free to post your before and after on IG with the tag #TSMwhitening so I can see!!! I just want everyone's horses to be bright and white. This routine is also body safe, though I mainly use it for tails/manes.
