In 2004, a company called NubyTech would release a series of officially licensed Street Fighter controllers in collaboration with UDON comics, which at that time were producing the best comic series based on the video game. Four wired controllers would be created for PlayStation 2 with the characters of Ryu, Akuma, Ken, and Chun Li. These limited edition controllers had very striking design features such as a lenticular image that created an animation for each character and six face buttons on the front which made it ideal to play SF. NubyTech's first run of licensed Street Fighter controllers was well received. Planning began on a second series of controllers. This time, they would be wireless, not corded like the first run. Nubytech planned controllers based on the characters of Blanka, Cammy, Evil Ryu, and Sagat for their series of officially licensed PS2 wireless controllers. There was to be a limited run of 10,000 units produced per character, each individually numbered to mark their rarity. Each controller would include a custom black leather-bound case, a wireless receiver, a keychain or dog tag (depending on the character), and a unique book that tells each fighter's anthology. The prototype controllers were previewed at E3 2005 in Los Angeles and were intended to become available in July 2005. "With the success of our previously released Street Fighter lines, we are taking another step to show Capcom fans the best possible controllers in terms of quality and presentation," said Paul Chen, then-president and COO of NubyTech. The best intel I can find is that there were (at most) two prototype units for each character ever produced. The one in this video is not numbered because it's a prototype, though on the back of the controller itself is a small sticker that reads "T3". I'm not sure what that designation indicates. Rumor is that this Sagat controller was removed from NubyTech's facility by a former employee when the company closed its doors in 2006/2007.
