Uncertain had a busy 2025, and he gets this year off to a flying start with his debut release on Symbolism. Drawing influence from the analogue end of techno, this five-tracker is tailor made for the dance floor. "Dysfunction" resounds to visceral, metallic riffs and hissing hi hats, with these elements playing out against a rolling groove. "Interference" is more abrasive, with its heads-down rhythm hosting wave upon wave of noisy riffs. "Create" sees Uncertain venture farther down this path, with grinding, jarring riffs to the fore. "Regulate" and the title track are not as harsh but are just as impactful, with a focus on driving, dubby drums and firing percussion.
