ASMR POV surgery. I'm uncovering an implant that was placed 4 months ago. The gingiva and bone have healed over the implant. The patient is given local anesthesia. I make a very small cut into the gingiva (gum) and remove any overlying bone. I then remove the cover screw and test the implant healing using resonance frequency analysis. Once integrity has been verified, a healing abutment is placed onto the implant and secured.
