Today I’m showing the Uniden BC125AT analog scanner, quick keypad functions, and how to program it using the BC125AT programming software. Press the power symbol to start scanning. I’ve pre-programmed a few analog channels — hit Hold to stop on a frequency or Scan to resume. You can also run a Service Search or press Function + Search to view individual agency frequencies. For Close Call, press Function + Hold, then E to select a mode. You can review or unlock frequencies under Review Lockouts. To lock the keypad, press Function + Lockout — repeat to unlock. To manually program a frequency, press Function + Program, enter the frequency, add an Alpha Tag, and save. You can also clear banks or delete channels as needed. Next, visit uniden.com/uniden-man/bc125at to download the BC125AT software. Open the ZIP file, run setup.exe, and follow the prompts. When installed, gather frequencies from RadioReference.com — copy them or import via Excel. Paste each frequency and Alpha Tag into the software. Connect the scanner with USB, ensure the COM port is detected, then select Scanner → Write to Scanner → OK. The software clears old data and writes your new programming. Disconnect once finished and your BC125AT is ready to scan. Thanks for watching — subscribe for more Uniden scanner tutorials and drop any questions below.
