Unit Solutions offers 3 different models of their Unit4 Training Rifle. The one I used is their Unit4 Spec Ops. It is basically a vanilla AR-15 with a 14.5" barrel and a flat top receiver and M-LOK handguard. Ready for you to put any accessories you'd like on them and get to training. The Unit4 rifles function just like a standard AR rifle with respect to the manual of arms, but they shoot non-lethal marking (paint) rounds or non-lethal non-marking rounds (think a larger airsoft BB). They function using a reusable metal magazine that is loaded with disposable 30 round inserts. The inserts have a CO2 cartridge, which powers the action and fires the projectile, and either the marking or non-marking rounds. Think of it as similar to UTM or Simunitions. They are a great option for training force on force, getting new shooters familiar with the AR style rifle, or conducting training where live fire would otherwise not be permitted.
