In other words, we can now mix 3D models and 2D sprites in our 2D games interchangeably which opens up a whole new world of 3D art assets for 2D developers! In this tutorial I create a new Unity 6.3 2D project, import a 3D asset pack and combine it with 2D sprites to create this simple scene.
