Just try the new gpu cloth asset, Cloth Dynamics. Try to use MagicaCloth demo scene vs Cloth Dynamics, the fps not accurate, but it should more than 400fps, use i7 gtx1070.
Right-click 'Download' and select 'Save Link As' if the file opens in a new tab.
