The Massachusetts Department of Correction Commissioner's Diversity Advisory Council recently held a "Unity Day" event at Northeastern Correctional Center in Concord, Massachusetts. Pot luck foods from different parts of the world were served and attendees were entertained by different ethnic music. The event was to demonstrate the diverse cultures that are represented throughout the department and to foster appreciation for each other's heritage.
