Unity Mega Man Tutorial - 10 Building to Android
Welcome to Unity Mega Man Tutorial Video #10. It's been a long journey and we've finally come to the end of the tutorial series (Vol 1 anyway). In the previous video we added touch controls so we can play our game on mobile devices, well in this video, now we're going to learn how to export our game to Android. First thing we'll do will be to make sure we have all the modules required to build an Android APK in Unity. Then we'll take a look at loading that APK on your phone in two ways: USB debugging and sending the file by Bluetooth then installing via unknown source. Sometimes getting the drivers installed and Windows to detect your phone doesn't always work hence I present the option 2 of Bluetooth/Unknown Source. AND if you don't have Bluetooth then you can always upload the APK to a website and download it via URL but I'm not going to cover that. The remainder of the video will be dedicated to make some code changes to the enemy controlling classes and update the Game Manager to spawn waves of enemies so your game doesn't stop unless you tell it to.
