Unity Mega Man Tutorial - 29 Game Pause

To do that we're going to make use of Unity's Timescale by setting it to zero. You can do other cool things with Timescale like adding slow motion or double speed to your game. For us however we're interested in suspending the game and simulating the pause that occurs in the original Mega Man game. We'll have the Game Manager watch for input on a key, invoke the pause function we create, set Timescale to zero, set a flag to know we're paused, hold the music, play a sound clip, and although it doesn't happen in the original game we'll show a message on the screen saying PAUSED. There will also be a lot of code additions for freezing objects that isn't part of the pause function but I'm adding into this video project because it's related material.
