Genesis 11 begins with something that looks good.
One people.
One language.
One direction.
Complete unity.
They work together.
They build together.
They move forward together.
But something is missing.
God.
They are unified…
but not aligned with Him.
And that changes everything.
Because unity is powerful—
but it depends on what it’s centered on.
Unity around truth leads toward God.
Unity around self leads away from Him.
“Let us make a name for ourselves.”
This is where unity becomes dangerous.
It’s not just about being together—
