in this video, I wanted to showcase a full body fps system I have been working on. The player's body is made of two different models. A model for the legs and a model for the body. Only the leg model is visible for the player. The body/torso model is only casting a shadow.
Everything is controlled with a script that handles the player state and passes parameters on to an animator component on the player body itself.
The animations themselves are from the Rifle Animation Pro asset. I have chosen to use these animations because they are very high quality.
Note that the quality has been downscaled a lot by the editing software. I am trying out new software at the moment. But the actual game looks way better than the video.
