In industry, machine uptime can be everything. Collaborative robots are no exception. By using industrial networking hardware from MOXA, we are able to configure Universal Robots to send an email to the production manager if the robot stops for any reason.
In this video, we take you step-by-step through the process of configuring a UR3 with MOXA's ioLogik and MGate products to trigger an email off of an e-stop condition. Thanks to UR's open Modbus Dashboard Server, there are a number of conditions we can look at as a trigger.
