Unreal 5.7 introduces a new compositing system. This has a TON of new features we've been wanting for a long time including a better chroma keyer, easier to use compositing setup and the ability to handle shadows! In this tutorial I cover setting up video in/out and a basic green screen composite. In Unreal 5.7 this process is completely different (and much simpler) than it was in earlier versions so I wanted to do a tutorial for it first. 00:00 Intro to new Composure in 5.7 01:00 Create the project/new startup screen 02:34 Required Plugins 03:56 Setup Blackmagic Video Input 07:50 Setup Composure Composite (all new!) 09:50 Setup chroma key layer 19:25 Output and record the final video. 20:36 Choose the Unreal camera to output 22:00 Simple recording with a screen recorder 22:44 Remove the mobile joystick "circles" 23:22 Set frame rate for simple screen recording 24:52 Set frame rate for Decklink or AJA card output 28:24 Output video to Decklink or AJA card 31:04 Important Color Difference Keyer tips 33:46 Final words Unreal professional video card documentation https://dev.epicgames.com/documentation/en-us/unreal-engine/professional-video-io-in-unreal-engine Unreal composure 5.7 documentation https://dev.epicgames.com/documentation/en-us/unreal-engine/composure #virtualproduction #unrealengine
