In the video, we are going to create a skeleton and assign skin weights for a camera crane model. The model is used to control its parts in the crane simulation. Bones are utilized to manipulate different parts of the mesh for actions such as rolling the wheels, turning columns, tilting, and extending beams, among others.
We´ll walk you through the process of building the skeleton from scratch and assigning skin weights for these types of rigid surfaces.
