This is another sneak peak of what's in my Foundations of Updos course! In this hair tutorial video, I'm sharing my technique for pinning the base of your updo. This technique is called "foundational pinning" (or sometimes I refer to it as "anchor pinning"). Knowing how to do this is KEY for every updo that you do. Why? Because bridal hair needs to last all day and night. If you don't have a good foundation in all of your updos, they can fall out before the ceremony even starts. They also risk getting loose or just looking messy. Not good. After watching this tutorial, you'll understand how to create a solid and strong foundation for every updo that you do with bobby pins. I also share my three favorite brands of pins that I recommend to use.
